Tems’ Debut Album ‘Born in the Wild’ Is Out

Nigerian afrobeat star, Temilade Openiyi, known widely as Tems has released her much-anticipated debut album “Born in the Wild”.

Tems broke into the music scene with her EP, ‘For Broken Ears’ (2020) which includes songs like “Free Mind”, “Higher”, “Damages” and other hits which made her a force to reckon with in the music industry.

With the success she enjoyed with “For Broken Ears”, Tems dropped ‘If Orange Was a Place’ (2021) which also included songs like, “Crazy Things’, “Vibe Out” and others.

After the success of her EPs ‘For Broken Ears’ and ‘If Orange Was a Place’, it’s time for her to release an album for fans and music lovers.

“Born in the Wild” released courtesy of RCA Records, is an 18-track. This highly anticipated album introduces listeners to a musical journey crafted by  Tems.

The sensational singles ‘Me & U’ and the infectious ‘Love Me JeJe’ lead the charge, paying homage to the timeless Seyi Sodimu classic.

Each track, “Born in the Wild” promises an immersive experience, inviting audiences to delve into the raw creativity and unbridled passion of Tems

Born in the Wild” features fellow Nigerian act Asake and American rapper J. Cole.

Beginning June 12th, Tems will embark on a global tour to celebrate the album’s release. Over 30 electrifying shows are lined up, featuring special guest performances by Lekan and Naomi Sharon.
