Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Ahmed Ololade, known professionally as Asake has released the tracklist for his much anticapated album dubbed “Lungu Boy”.

Since breaking into the mainstream in 2022, Asake has released numerous hit songs and top-tier albums that have earned him superstar status.

As part of his global rise, Asake has revealed the release date for his next album ‘Lungu Boy’. The project arrives August 9, 2024 and boasts a star-studded lineup of contributors: Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Wizkid, British rappers Central Cee and Stormzy , American superstars Travis Scott & Ludmila from Brazil.

In recent months, Asake has been on a roll, collaborating with artists such as Olamide, Zlatan, Ayra Starr, Victony and others

In 2024, Asake released ‘Only Me’ and ‘Wave’ featuring Central Cee which is one of the tracks on the ‘Lungu Boy’.

The album precedes Asake’s forthcoming ‘Lungu Boy’ tour at  O2 Arena in London where he had headlined back in 2023 and Madison Square Garden, only making him the fourth Nigerian to headline at The Gardens.
