Afrobeats superstars, Wizkid and Davido have reignited their long standing feud on Twitter (X).

The online battle between musical stars, Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, and David Adedeji, a.k.a Davido continued Monday night.

Wizkid had previously thrown shade at Davido. While responding to a fan’s request for new music on Twitter

, he shared a leaked video of Davido begging what appeared to be a female associate.

Wizkid’s post on X generated uproar  with many wondering what could be wrong with both men.

However, Davido, on Monday night dropped a series of cryptic tweets believed to be responses to the  Wizkid’s post on  Twitter.

In one of the tweets, Davido wrote, “Dem no know your Gbedu,” which is thought to be a reference to Wizkid, who announced the release of his highly anticipated Morayo album in May.

He also tweeted, , “When light comes, darkness vanishes. Let get active.

However, it was Wizkid who  responded with first a dig, tweeting, “U and all ur crew plus ur pant washer songwriter go to sleep at night thinking you got anything on me in music  wish u all well ”

He followed it up with another tweet, “U know what..no point. delusional niggas  pray for y’all” which was quoted directly with a response, “WE NOT DELUSIONAL YOU’RE A SICK MAN”

Wizkid responed Davido’s tweet the same leaked video of Davido.

Many will be surprised by the rift between the two superstars, given that they were recently spotted hugging in a Lagos nightclub.

Prior to the club meeting, Wizkid announced plans for a joint tour with his rival in 2023.

He announced on his Instagram story that the expedition would take place after the tour for his fifth studio album, “More Love, Less Ego (MLLE),” which was released in mid-2023.

The relationship between the two, who are regarded as one of Nigeria’s greatest musical exports, has often been strained.
